Thassos White

Thassos White marble is a medium grained, dolomitic rock, known for its crystal white color, which makes it real popular around the world. More specificaly it consists of roundish and oval calcite crystals in various sizes, which have tje natural property to reflect light. Therefore, Thassos white marble is used in eco buildings to provide physical protection from high temperatures.

The Thassos white marble is mined from the greek island Thassos and it is used in a wide variety of applications since the ancient times.
